- **Order**: *Phantasmales* (The Apparitional).
- **Family**: *Catoptricaceae* (Reflection-disruptors).
- **Status**: Highly reactive; develops exclusively on the reverse side of antique, mercury-backed glass mirrors, vanity tables, and wardrobe doors exposed to long periods of domestic shadow.
